Job summary

Agiliti is seeking an Onsite Surgical Equipment Repair Specialist in Rochester, MN. This full-time role requires traveling to hospitals to inspect, test and repair general surgery instruments and maintain detailed service records.

You will perform preventive maintenance, coordinate repairs, and communicate status to customers at the job site. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, experience with medical equipment, and the ability to work flexible hours including evenings

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with medical equipment in a hospital or clinic.
• Willingness to travel extensively to support business needs.
• Ability to sit/stand/bend with precise hand dexterity and operate small parts tools.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test general surgery instruments.
• Disassemble malfunctioning equipment and repair or replace parts.
• Keep records of maintenance, parts and repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance such as cleaning, lubricating, or adjusting instruments.
• Coordinate repair program developments and communications with customers.
• Facilitate equipment pickup, delivery, quotations, and repair status updates.
• Coordinate periodic performance reviews with leadership.
