Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills.
• Experience with medical equipment in hospitals/clinics.
• Good near-sighted vision and color discrimination.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test general surgery instrumentation.
• Disassemble malfunctioning equipment and replace defective parts.
• Maintain records of maintenance, parts and repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance on instruments (cleaning, lubrication, adjustments).
• Coordinate maintenance program developments using company methods.
• Facilitate equipment pickup, delivery, quotes, repair status, and delivery of repaired items.
• Assist leadership with periodic performance reviews.
