Busch Vacuum Solutions in Virginia Beach, VA, is seeking a Supply Chain Planner I to support manufacturing operations by planning and ordering materials based on changing demand. This onsite role works Monday–Friday with standard hours, primarily office-based with some floor time.

The role uses ERP systems and requires a Bachelor's in a related field and 1–2 years of experience; SAP and Excel are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field is required.
• 1–2 years of manufacturing planning experience or equivalent education is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
• Experience with ERP systems and SAP is preferred.
• APICS certification is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Analyzes changes in demand and reschedules materials to support production within ERP.
• Selects transportation modes to meet requirements while minimizing costs.
• Maintains stock levels to support production and spare parts, minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
• Analyzes material requirements and makes procurement recommendations.
• Communicates with suppliers about material challenges due to demand fluctuations, delays, quality issues.
• Maintains ERP master data including lead times, lot sizes, planning strategies, reorder points, and other parameters.
• Maintains records of past planning and procurement activities.
• Works cross-functionally to resolve missing, defective, or unacceptable goods and plans corrective actions.
• Participates in lean process improvement and problem-solving activities.
• Attends meetings and training to stay current in material and procurement management.
