Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Dulles, VA, seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer (Level 2 or 3) to join our Space Sector. This 100% onsite role supports supplier quality and mission assurance across programs, with a 9/80 schedule and every other Friday off. You will lead QA activities, coordinate with engineering and procurement, and mentor junior staff.

The position requires a degree with experience, the ability to obtain a Secret clearance, and strong technical writing. Travel up to 25% may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of professional experience OR Master’s degree with 0 years.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
• Familiarity with customer and internal requirements implementation and flow-down.
• Interdepartmental collaboration and communication skills.
• Experience with process improvement projects or initiatives.
• Experience developing and working to an AS9100 QMS.
• Strong technical writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and monitor mission assurance and supplier quality program specifications and processes.
• Perform program risk assessments and drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with standards.
• Develop and maintain supplier quality metrics and dashboards.
• Train, mentor, and support junior-level personnel; contribute to continuous improvement.
