Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems seeks an Engineer Supplier Quality (Level 2) or Principal Engineer Supplier Quality (Level 3) to join the Supplier Performance Management team. The on-site role is based in Woodland Hills, CA or Salt Lake City, UT and requires a U.S. Government Secret clearance.

You will drive supplier quality improvements, perform 8D/5 Whys analyses, and lead root-cause investigations while collaborating with internal and supplier teams. Some travel is expected up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Experience with root cause analysis tools.
• Experience with AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 requirements.
• Experience with Quality Management System.
• Must have an active U.S. Government Secret level security clearance.
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Represent Northrop Grumman to the supply chain with credibility and professionalism.
• Engage in program activities to identify and quantify supplier performance.
• Represent SPM at reviews and boards (CCB, MRB, PMR, etc.).
• Perform Specification/Drawing Compliance Reviews per AS9102.
• Conduct process and product audits and capacity assessments.
• Drive return-to-green plans and manage SCARs with cross-functional teams.
