Job summary

EmergencyMD is seeking an Onsite Supervisor to coordinate temporary staff at the client site and act as the primary liaison among client, employees, and recruiting teams. The role oversees onboarding, payroll, safety, employee relations, and daily workforce management to ensure staffing needs are met efficiently.

The position requires coordinating Saturday and Sunday shifts from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a focus on timely staffing and compliance.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience in staffing, HR, recruiting, or onsite supervision preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • English communication required; Spanish bilingual skills preferred but not required.
  • Ability to handle confidential employee information professionally.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Reliable attendance and availability to work Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, interview, and submit qualified candidates to client hiring managers.
  • Coordinate drug screenings, background checks, and new hire paperwork.
  • Review associate availability and assist with staffing coverage.
  • Support replacement or termination of temporary associates when necessary.
  • Follow up with supervisors to ensure staffing requirements are met.
  • Supervise and provide support to associates and team leads.
  • Monitor daily employee attendance and maintain staffing levels.
  • Track employee headcount and hours worked on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Recommend performance evaluations to managers and supervisors.
  • Review employee worked hours and payroll records for accuracy.
  • Verify and correct missing punches with employees and client representatives.
  • Update payroll sheets and employee information in company systems.
  • Prepare payroll reports and submit them to Corporate by the weekly deadline.
  • Prepare weekly attendance reports.
  • Organize, file, and maintain employee documentation.
  • Pick up and distribute payroll checks as needed.
  • Conduct safety walkthroughs and workplace inspections.
  • Perform new hire safety orientations, including safety training videos.
  • Conduct employee safety meetings and participate in safety committee meetings.
  • Ensure employees have required PPE, safety training, and departmental training.
  • Verify forklift certifications are current and coordinate certifications for new operators.
  • Investigate workplace accidents and complete injury reports; review client safety expectations and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Serve as the primary onsite contact between the client and staffing company.
  • Attend company meetings and client meetings as requested.
  • Maintain professional communication with employees, supervisors, and management.
  • Support client operations by responding quickly to staffing and employee concerns.

Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
Staffing & Recruitment
