The on-site Superintendent will manage daily site operations, subcontractor coordination, and scheduling for public-sector renovations including a Town Hall elevator modernization and a youth center project. The role requires strong leadership, 5+ years of Superintendent experience, and excellent communication with project managers,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Superintendent experience in commercial, municipal, institutional, or public construction.
• Experience managing occupied renovation projects preferred.
• Strong understanding of sequencing, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Proficient with basic computer software and daily reporting platforms.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day construction activities and site operations from project start through completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, and material deliveries.
• Maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are achieved on time.
• Enforce site safety standards and ensure compliance with all project requirements.
• Communicate regularly with project managers, owners, inspectors, and municipal representatives.
• Complete daily reports, site documentation, and progress updates.
• Monitor quality control and ensure work is completed in accordance with plans and specifications.
