Description

Join Learning Grove, a top-rated nonprofit early childhood education provider in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. As an On-Site Substitute Teacher, you'll support classroom learning, meal times, and naps—helping maintain a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment when regular staff are out.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • CDA or progress toward an ECE degree preferred
  • Experience with young children and effective classroom management
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to equity and confidentiality
  • Must meet physical requirements, accommodations available

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with classroom routines (activities, meals, nap time, teacher breaks)
  • Apply child-centered, Constructivist learning strategies
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
  • Collaborate with staff and communicate positively with families
