Job summary

PACK Power, LLC is seeking a Substation Construction role in Paris, Texas, onsite with a base salary plus a daily per diem, a monthly vehicle allowance and fuel card, and regular rotational travel home from the job site.

The role involves overseeing substation construction, ensuring QA/QC, maintaining logs, coordinating with QA staff, and supporting project planning. A Construction/Engineering degree is preferred; related field experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in CM/Engineering preferred.
• Experience in related construction field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety policies.
• Oversee daily substation construction activities.
• Verify construction against design docs.
• Maintain material tracking and testing logs.
• Manage submittals and verify specs.
• Perform basic surveying and verify dimensions.
• Record daily progress and address deficiencies.
• Document field changes and maintain redline drawings.
• Coordinate with client QA/QC staff.
• Prepare operation and maintenance manuals.
• Support punch list inspections and testing equipment calibration.
• Collaborate with project managers for planning.
