Job summary

Pcapower is seeking a Substation Technician to perform construction, maintenance, and repair of substation equipment and systems across Texas and beyond. The role involves working in confined spaces and at elevations, using HV switches, transformers, and protective devices.

Candidates must read and communicate in English, pass a pre-employment drug screen, and be willing to travel to multiple locations. CDL is not required but a valid driver’s license is required; safety and teamwork are

Qualifications

• Experience with construction, maintenance, or repair of substation equipment and systems.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and at elevations.
• Pre-employment drug screen required.
• Willingness to travel to multiple locations across Texas and beyond.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL not required.

Responsibilities

• Construct, maintain, or repair substation equipment and systems.
• Test, adjust, and troubleshoot equipment including transformers, circuit breakers, and switchgear.
• Maintain company vehicles and test equipment in good condition.
• Work with energized high-voltage systems with safety as a priority.
