Job summary

South College of Tennessee, Inc. is seeking an experienced Student Success Advisor to join our Nashville campus team.

You will help students set and achieve academic goals, provide guidance on program requirements, registration, and career planning, and work closely with faculty and other departments. The role requires a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred), strong communication skills, and the ability to advise via phone, email, text, and virtual platforms.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience advising college students or related student services is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable with multiple communication channels.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary advisor for students, facilitating academic planning and goal setting.
• Coordinate learning experiences through course and career planning and monitor academic progress.
• Act as a referral point to other campus services as needed.
