Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a current UM-Flint student in good academic standing (2.0 or higher).
• Available to work 15-20 hours per week during regular business hours for the duration of employment.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Professionalism and discretion with confidential information.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist students, faculty, staff, and visitors in the CIT Student Services Center.
• Provide front desk coverage by answering questions, directing visitors, and responding to emails.
• Perform accurate and timely data entry; assist with administrative projects.
• Support planning and implementation of CIT student events and activities.
• Maintain organized electronic and paper records.
• Handle FERPA-protected information with discretion.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming office environment.
• Assist with proctor scheduling and exam logistics.
• Document and report testing irregularities or misconduct.
