Job summary

Clayco is seeking a Structural Designer II to join our Development, Architecture, and Construction teams for industrial projects in the Kansas City or St. Louis metro areas.

This on-site role focuses on structural design and quality assurance, using BIM workflows and collaboration across disciplines. You will create conceptual structural models from engineers' directions, manage redlines, and ensure alignment with project standards, budgets, and schedules while mentoring junior designers and

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in CAD/CAM or similar technical degree.
• 2-5 years of experience in a design/engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Create conceptual structural models from verbal direction or sketches.
• Check own work and coordinate with related disciplines to avoid clashes.
• Mentor junior designers and assist with technical questions.
