Job summary

Clayco seeks a Structural Designer II to join our in-house Development, Architecture, and Construction teams for nationwide industrial projects. The role is on-site in the Kansas City or St.

Louis metro areas, focusing on BIM design, structural modeling, and QA on distribution, manufacturing, and cold storage facilities. The candidate will work closely with engineers and other designers, create 3D models in Revit, check for clashes, and mentor junior staff while meeting schedule, budget, and

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in CAD/Drafting or a related technical field or 3+ years BIM experience.
• 2–5 years of experience in an operating company or design firm setting.

Responsibilities

• Create conceptual and detailed structural models and drawings based on engineer direction.
• Review and coordinate designs with other disciplines to prevent clashes and ensure standards compliance.
• Mentor junior designers and support senior staff in project delivery.
