Job summary

PacSci EMC seeks a Strategic Buyer, Advanced Manufacturing in Chandler, AZ. This 100% onsite role focuses on sourcing, contracting, and implementing capital equipment and automation to enhance advanced manufacturing capabilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; field of study is flexible.
Typically 5–7 years in advanced manufacturing procurement, CAPEX buying or related programs.
Experience purchasing capital equipment and custom engineered solutions in complex environments.
Project-procurement experience with RFQs, supplier negotiations and end-to-end sourcing.

Responsibilities

Own procurement for capital equipment, automation, upgrades, prototypes, and related investments.
Lead RFQ/RFP development, bid analysis, supplier evaluation and PO placement.
Coordinate multiple supplier delivery schedules and procurement timelines.
Provide executive-level updates on project risk, status, and costs.
Manage supplier performance and drive corrective actions.
Partner with Engineering, Facilities, and Operations to meet specs and cost targets.
