Job summary

ElDorado National California Inc. (ENC) is seeking a Buyer in Riverside, CA with OEM procurement experience in the automotive sector. The role focuses on sourcing raw materials, components, and services; negotiating terms; and managing supplier performance to meet cost and delivery targets.

You will collaborate with Aftermarket sales, oversee RFQ processes, POs, and goods receipt, and leverage ERP/MRP data for strategic insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (business, supply chain or engineering preferred).
• 2–4 years of procurement experience in a dynamic environment; automotive exposure preferred.
• Experience with OEM supply chains, cost optimization and supplier performance metrics.
• Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, advanced formulas) and familiarity with ERP/MRP.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Procure materials to optimize cost, quality and delivery.
• Negotiate and manage supplier performance for best value and schedule.
• Oversee RFQ process, procurement awards, PO creation and goods receipt.
• Collaborate with Aftermarket sales to meet customer requirements and cost targets.
• Ensure suppliers meet delivery schedules and address issues promptly.
• Use Excel tools and ERP/MRP data to provide actionable procurement insights.
