Job summary

ENC - ElDorado National California, a long‑standing U.S. transportation manufacturer in Riverside, CA, is hiring an Expeditor / Purchasing Associate. The role supports supply chain activities, including direct/indirect purchasing, supplier management, and cost optimization within automotive procurement.

Ideal candidates have 0–2 years procurement experience, strong Excel and ERP/MRP familiarity, and are able to analyze data and negotiate effectively to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, preference given to business, supply chain or engineering degrees
• Up to 2 years procurement experience in a dynamic environment with preference for automotive procurement.
• Experience in procurement in production purchasing or non-production purchasing.
• Understanding of supply chain operations, contracts, and supplier performance metrics.
• Understanding of Product Lifecycle Management, Project Management, NPI and production control.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, advanced formulas) and familiarity with ERP/MRP
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills

Responsibilities

• Procure materials to optimize cost, quality, and delivery.
• Negotiate contracts and manage supplier performance for best value.
• Oversee the RFQ process, procurement awards, purchase order creation, and goods receipt.
• Analyze pricing to meet cost objectives and budgets.
• Ensure suppliers meet delivery schedules and address issues to avoid delays.
• Maintain corporate records and ensure compliance with NDAs, Export Compliance, and Contracts.
• Ensure suppliers/contractors meet project timelines.
• Leverage advanced Excel tools and ERP/MRP systems to analyze procurement data and provide actionable insights.
