Job summary

TGG Accounting in Schuylkill Haven, PA is seeking a Steel Detailer to join our team of professionals focused on architectural and miscellaneous metals fabrication for commercial projects. This onsite role offers exposure to structured detailing, coordination with multiple teams, and opportunities for leadership as senior staff retire.

You will review drawings, produce detailed fabrication shop drawings, and ensure accuracy for successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of steel detailing or related drafting experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and ability to interpret architectural drawings.
• Experience creating fabrication/shop drawings for steel components.
• Onsite availability to work full-time in Schuylkill Haven, PA.

Responsibilities

• Review architectural and design drawings for commercial projects.
• Create detailed shop drawings for fabrication of steel stairs, railings, and miscellaneous metal products.
• Submit shop drawings for architectural approval and incorporate revisions as needed.
• Release approved drawings to production for fabrication.
• Coordinate with estimators, fabrication teams, and drafting leadership throughout project execution.
• Manage projects ranging from approximately $50K to $2M in value.

Compensation & Benefits

• $70,000-$80,000 base salary

Required Qualifications

• Experience creating fabrication/shop drawings
• Ability to work onsite full-time in Schuylkill Haven, PA

Preferred Qualifications

• Tekla Structures experience
• Architectural, ornamental, or miscellaneous metals detailing experience
• Drafting & Design degree or related technical education
• Experience in union or commercial construction environments
