Job summary

SURGE Staffing is hiring an Onsite Supervisor in Newark, OH to manage temporary staff for a major client. The role focuses on aligning worker skills with client needs, delivering outstanding service, and supporting daily operations.

You'll supervise on-site staff, coordinate scheduling, and handle administrative tasks, attendance tracking, and invoice reconciliation, with a Monday–Friday schedule. A strong background in supervision and customer service is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Proven leadership in a previous managerial role.
• Exceptional customer service and the ability to build partnerships.
• 1–2 years experience in a supervisory role or 3–5 years in customer service.
• Experience in a factory setting.
• Strong communication and administrative skills.
• Experience with background checks, I-9, and E Verify.

Responsibilities

• Effectively meeting the temporary help and/or training needs of a major SURGE Client.
• Delivers high quality service to the customer and temporary employees.
• Develops and retains business by providing outstanding customer service.
• Performs a variety of administrative tasks.
• Monitor attendance of employees.
• Process and assist with Workers' Compensation claims.
• Reconcile invoices from all vendors.
• Other duties as assigned.
