Stryker Corporation is seeking a Staff Engineer, Continuous Improvement to lead Lean manufacturing and process optimization in our Puerto Rico operations. This role will partner with cross-functional teams to analyze workflows, implement sustainable improvements, and support new product introductions while ensuring compliant, high-quality manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years leading process improvement initiatives in manufacturing.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Experience applying Lean, Six Sigma, RCA, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with formal project management tools and methodologies.
• Professional proficiency in English and Spanish.

Responsabilités

• Lead Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and waste.
• Analyze workflows, performance data, and work measurement to identify opportunities.
• Develop and implement solutions for technical and process challenges ensuring quality and compliance.
• Support new product introductions by aligning manufacturing capabilities and requirements.
• Evaluate plant layouts, equipment use, capacity, and workflow design for safety and efficiency.
• Create and standardize manufacturing instructions, methods, and process documentation.
• Collaborate with Quality Engineering to develop testing and validation protocols.
