Job summary

LHH is seeking an up-and-coming accounting professional for a Monday–Friday, onsite role in Phoenix. You will prepare reconciliations, record journal entries, review banking activity, and support multiple business units to ensure accurate financial reporting.

The position emphasizes intercompany accounting, period-end activities, and close collaboration with teams across the organization in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 1–2 years of accounting experience in a professional environment.
• Strong Excel skills with PivotTables and lookups.
• Experience with SAP or ERP systems is a plus.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain account reconciliations for cash, balance sheet, prepaid, and accrued accounts.
• Record financial transactions through journal entries and adjustments.
• Review banking activity and payments to verify deposits and identify unusual transactions.
• Provide accounting support across multiple business units.
• Investigate intercompany variances and related discrepancies.
• Collaborate with teams across the organization to address accounting and operational issues.
• Analyze exceptions and research transactions requiring follow up.
• Assist with period end activities including accruals and prepaid expenses.
• Validate system data and help ensure reporting accuracy.
