Community Options, Inc. is seeking a Staff Accountant in Newtown, PA to manage accounts payable, bank reconciliations, general ledger entries, and financial reporting. This onsite role requires strong attention to detail and adherence to GAAP and regulatory requirements.

You will handle budgeting, variance analysis, payroll validation, tax exemptions, and monthly and quarterly reporting for funding sources, collaborating with cross-functional teams across the organization.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 2–5 years of general accounting experience.
• Proficient with Advanced Excel functions.
• Understanding of GAAP principles and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Approve and process Accounts Payable invoices and monthly purchase journals.
• Complete monthly bank reconciliations and post general ledger entries.
• Prepare budgets, variance reports, and monthly cost reports for funding sources.
• Prepare, enter, and maintain budgets in accounting software; generate accounting vouchers.
• Assist with payroll validation, tax exemption applications, and audit documentation.
• Provide account reconciliations and FTE reports for payroll cycles.
