Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.
• Minimum 2 years of progressive accounting experience, including GL, reconciliations, payroll, and month-end close.
• Experience in nonprofit and/or grant accounting preferred.
• Familiarity with GAAP for not-for-profit organizations and Uniform Guidance preferred.
• Proficiency with Paycom and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, deferrals, and adjusting entries.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and GL reconciliations.
• Support payroll processing and month-end close activities.
• Track grant revenues/expenses by funding source and grant period.
• Prepare grant billing and financial reports for funders, including FFR.
• Support audits and maintain audit-ready accounting records.
