Talent Edge Recruiting is seeking a Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) for a federal construction project in Minot, ND. The position is fully onsite on a federal jobsite with a base pay of $80,000–$125,000 plus a 15% project-completion bonus.

Responsibilities include implementing EM 385-1-1 and OSHA safety plans, conducting inspections, leading safety orientations, and managing incident investigations. Strong MS Office and Bluebeam experience are preferred in a fast-growing, ESOP company

Qualifications

• 5+ years of safety experience within last 10 years in managing or implementing safety programs.
• OSHA 30-hour certification (or equivalent)
• 24 hours of competent person training within last 3 years
• First Aid/CPR certification
• OSHA competent person qualification in at least 3 areas
• Federal/DOD construction background and ability to meet Corps/project requirements
• MS Office proficiency; Bluebeam experience preferred; construction mgmt software a plus

Responsabilités

• Implement and enforce safety plans per EM 385-1-1 and OSHA standards
• Conduct daily jobsite safety inspections and submit reports
• Manage PPE procurement and distribution
• Lead new-hire safety orientation and toolbox talks
• Review subcontractor safety documentation and submittals
• Lead incident investigations and post-accident reporting
• Maintain safety records, SDS docs, and compliance files
• Inspect and maintain SWPPP
• Develop emergency response plans and drills
