Job summary

Doyon Management Services is looking for a Site Safety & Health Officer (SSHO) in the United States. The SSHO is responsible for safety compliance at construction sites, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, and conducting thorough inspections.

The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of construction experience, including 3 years as a federal SSHO with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers or NAVFAC. Benefits include a salary range of $100,000-$140,000 per year, comprehensive health plans, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of construction experience.
• Minimum of 3 years as a federal construction SSHO.
• Experience with federal projects in USACE or NAVFAC.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site inspections to ensure compliance.
• Develop and review the Accident Prevention Plan and AHAs.
• Provide on-site safety education for subcontractors.
• Conduct mishap investigations and complete accident reports.
