Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Sr. DevOps Engineer to join a leading government contractor supporting mission-critical programs in the Intelligence Community. The role is fully onsite and requires an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.

Responsibilities include administering secure cloud infrastructure in AWS GovCloud and C2S, building CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating across teams. Qualifications include a Bachelor's in a technical field and 4–15+ years in cloud/DevOps, with Linux

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field (equivalent experience considered).
• 4–15+ years in cloud infra/DevOps, depending on education and experience.
• Hands-on AWS GovCloud and/or C2S experience with CI/CD and automation.
• Extensive Linux administration in enterprise environments; strong networking knowledge.
• Active TS/SCI with CI Poly required.

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize enterprise cloud infrastructure in AWS GovCloud/C2S.
• Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and updates.
• Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and related infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and cloud issues across layers.
• Monitor system health and implement improvements for reliability and scalability.
• Collaborate with developers, cybersecurity, and network teams to deliver secure infra.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code, automation scripts, and docs.
• Communicate status and risks to technical teams and leadership.
