Ashby Ponds by Erickson Senior Living in Ashburn, VA is seeking a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat residents with communication, cognitive-linguistic, voice and swallowing disorders onsite.

Hopeful candidate will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, deliver individualized treatment plans, document progress, and educate residents and families. No travel; impactful, resident-centered care in a continuing care retirement community.

Qualifications

• Current Virginia Speech-Language Pathology license.
• Experience communicating with residents and families.
• Ability to work onsite in a geriatric setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, voice and swallowing evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on treatment strategies and communication techniques.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries per guidelines.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support resident-centered care.
• Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Participate in care planning and team meetings.
