Qualifications

• Current Alabama Special Education Teacher Licensure with appropriate endorsements.

• Willingness to work exclusively onsite (no virtual/remote options available).

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, individualized instruction to a maximum of 20 students in self-contained settings.
• Assess students strengths, needs, and ongoing progress, adapting lessons accordingly.
• Develop, implement, and track IEPs in partnership with multidisciplinary teams.
• Create a structured, nurturing classroom climate that promotes academic and personal growth.
• Maintain open communication with families and staff regarding student needs and achievements.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal special education regulations.
