Qualified applicants will have 1+ year(s) of interpreting experience, professional proficiency in English and Spanish, and the ability to travel to onsite assignments.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Professional proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Ability to accurately provide consecutive interpretation between English and Spanish.
• One or more years of professional interpreting experience.
• Medical, legal, community, educational, or social-services interpreting experience.
• Relevant interpreter training, credentials, or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and professional consecutive interpretation between English and Spanish during onsite assignments.
• Provide remote interpretation by telephone or video when applicable.
• Follow applicable interpreter protocols, professional standards, and client requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with privacy, security, and data-protection requirements (HIPAA, FERPA, GLBA) where applicable.
• Maintain professional interactions with clients, patients, healthcare professionals, and other participants.
• Maintain professional language proficiency and subject-matter knowledge for accurate interpretation.
