Job summary

Leidos is seeking a SolarWinds Administrator at Langley AFB in Virginia to lead end-to-end monitoring across the organization’s IT stack. The role focuses on installation, upgrades, performance tuning, and advanced SQL reporting to deliver actionable insights for operations.

The position requires onsite work at Langley AFB and an active DoD TS/SCI clearance. You will design dashboards, respond to alerts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize infrastructure health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant experience or a Master’s with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance.
• DoD 8570/8140-compliant certification at IAT Level II (Security+ CE) or higher.
• 4+ years of SolarWinds administration with multiple modules.
• Strong knowledge of networks, NetFlow, SNMP, and packet analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and administer SolarWinds monitoring across IT infrastructure.
• Customize dashboards, alerts, and reports to meet monitoring requirements.
• Collaborate with teams to define monitoring needs for devices, servers, and apps.
• Implement and manage SolarWinds solutions to identify and resolve issues proactively.
• Analyze SolarWinds data to optimize performance and capacity planning.
• Respond to alerts, investigate incidents, and coordinate remediation with IT teams.
• Create and maintain documentation for SolarWinds configurations and best practices.
