Job summary

Raytheon seeks an onsite Senior Software Systems Quality Engineer (Compliance) to support Land & Air Defense Systems in Tucson, AZ. This role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance and a STEM degree with 5+ years in quality or engineering.

You will review documents, manage SW releases, and contribute to agile and DevSecOps practices while collaborating with engineering, safety, and program teams on complex defense programs.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Security Clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 5 years of Quality or Engineering experience.
• Experience across Agile, Testing, Requirements, Software lifecycle, and Defects.
• Familiarity with metrics, release management, and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Review of document deliverables, policies, and software release packages.
• Participate in peer reviews, control boards, and tracking of metrics.
• Support Agile/DevSecOps practices and risk-based process improvements.
