Job summary

RTX (Raytheon) is seeking a Software Engineering Intern for 2027 to join the Missile Defense Sensors Software Department onsite in Massachusetts. You will design, develop, test, and release real-time software components under guidance, contributing to radar and C2 programs.

You should be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree, have at least 60 credits, and have experience with C, C++, Java, or Ada; familiarity with CI/CD (Jenkins) is a plus, and the role requires eligibility for a DoD Secret

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline and actively enrolled through internship/co-op period.
• Must have a minimum of 60 credit hours by start of internship.
• Experience developing software with C, C++, Java, or Ada.

Responsibilities

• Assist and participate in requirements, design, development and testing of real-time application software and tools.
• Participate in internal reviews of software components and systems.
• Follow established development practices to maintain configuration management of software products.
