Software Technology Inc. is seeking a Tier I Network and Security Operations Center (NSOC) analyst for an onsite role in Harrisburg, PA. This position requires participation in a 24/7 shift schedule and in-person interviews.

As part of the NSOC team, you will monitor mission-essential sites, classify alerts, and support incident response with timely, accurate documentation. The role emphasizes teamwork, playbook refinement, and collaboration with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in a security operations center.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support a 24/7 schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Provide proactive, on-site monitoring and response for mission-essential sites and information systems.
• Classify, prioritize, and expedite alerts promptly to ensure timely resolution.
• Follow procedures for data collection, triage, analysis, classification, and escalation to meet targets.
• Capture, log, respond and escape events from email, chat, voice, and other systems with accurate documentation.
• Collect and analyze technical data to classify events, distinguish valid issues from false positives, and maintain triage accuracy.
• Work with team members to develop and refine playbooks, dashboards, metrics, and detection strategies.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of incidents and recommended actions.
• Provide support during network and security incidents, assisting with resolution efforts as directed.
