Job summary

PRIMUS Global Services seeks an experienced SOC Analyst to join our onsite Cyber Operations team in Austin, TX. The role focuses on security monitoring, incident response, and threat detection within a CSOC environment.

You will analyze security alerts from SIEM, EDR, cloud and network security tools, and collaborate with defenders to rapidly contain and remediate incidents while maintaining strong documentation and escalation practices.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience analyzing security alerts and events in a CSOC.
• Proficient with SIEM, EDR and cloud/email/identity/security tooling.
• Strong incident response and threat detection capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze security alerts and events generated by SIEM, EDR, cloud security, email security, identity protection, and network security platforms.
• Contain, investigate, and remediate security incidents in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with defenders to improve security monitoring and threat detection capabilities.
