Job summary

Gersh Autism Academy in the Bronx seeks a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to provide therapy and evaluations for students aged 5–21 within a school setting. The role requires NY licensure, collaboration with families and colleagues, and ongoing documentation of services and outcomes.

The position emphasizes clinical reasoning, program modification, and participation in IFSP/IEP goals, with CPI procedures as needed. On-site with regular school hours.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech and Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders required.
• Must have current NY license.
• TSSLD certification preferred.
• PROMPT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy/evaluations for language, articulation, and voice fluency.
• Collaborate with families and other disciplines.
• Maintain documentation of student services and needs.
• Promote engagement in meaningful activities.
• Work with students with autism and use CPI procedures when needed.
