Westinghouse Electric Company in New Stanton, PA is seeking a Shop Technician II, Repair to evaluate and repair electrical assemblies and PCBs for refurbishment. The role requires working on-site five days a week and reporting to the Assistant Area Manager, I&C Operations.

Responsibilities include interpreting mechanical/electrical drawings, performing soldering and testing, installing components and wiring, and operating electrical test equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ years of relevant experience with electrical and PCB skills.
• Nuclear industry experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and repair electrical assemblies and PCBs in support of repair and refurbishment.
• Perform electrical wiring, soldering and testing of assemblies following standard procedures.
• Report to the Assistant Area Manager, I&C Operations and work on-site at New Stanton, PA.
• Comprehend mechanical/electrical drawings, codes, schematics, manuals and procedures and record data as required.
• Operate electrical/electronic test equipment.
