Job summary

Watts Water Technologies is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to streamline shipping operations at our facility in St. Pauls, NC. Responsibilities include invoicing, preparing bills of lading, maintaining paperwork, and expediting orders with internal teams and freight providers.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1+ year warehouse experience, strong English communication, and the ability to work both independently and with a team. SAP/Excel/QAD familiarity is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Understanding and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations and safety practices and procedures.
• Background checks and pre-employment testing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Completes order maintenance generating invoices for all work assignments.
• Prints need jobs for items to be pulled for UPS.
• Files and tracks various paperwork as required.
• Prepares bills of lading for shipments to customers and verifies BOLs with load sheet.
• Verifies packing slip and related papers with orders received.
• Provides PODs for customers and customer service for lost or delayed shipment.
• Expedites past due orders using shipping reports and order overdue reports.
• Obtains dimensions and documents for export shipments.
• Works with Quality to obtain proper documentation.
• Maintains inventory accuracy and MRP reports by monitoring allocations.
• Coordinates with departments to send items to warehouse to fill orders.
• Contacts trucking firms for rate quotes and pick-ups for expedited orders.
• Reports shortages or overages to appropriate resources.
• Files damage claims with trucking companies for payment.
