Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Durham, NH is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to handle receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping materials, prepare shipping documents, and operate ERP systems. This on-site role supports production control and requires the ability to stand long hours and lift up to 35 lbs.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of relevant experience; UPS/FedEx software and ERP familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. GED in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Receives, checks, stores, issues and ships a variety of items and maintains inventory control.
• Prepares shipping documents and all paper work that accompanies the shipment.
• Uses ERP system.
• Verifies all work and documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Uses assistance and/or powered mechanical means to load, unload, store and deliver a variety of incoming and outgoing material.
• Uses a fork truck and pallet jack daily.
• Prepares and packages small and large parts using proper procedures and materials.
