Job summary

HireArt is assisting a Houston-based autonomous mobility company with a Readiness & Response Operator Shift Supervisor role. You will supervise daily vehicle readiness and response activities, provide logistical support, and ensure safety and quality standards are met on site.

The position requires leadership experience, strong organizational skills, and willingness to travel for training. You will work across shifts and support continuous process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of people leadership experience.
• Proven ability to quickly learn technical subjects.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office/Google Suite, especially Excel.
• Ability to pass a background check, Motor Vehicle Record check, and drug screen.
• Must have a valid in-state U.S. driver’s license for the past 3+ consecutive years with no gaps and a clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel locally as required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shift operations, ensuring tasks meet quality, productivity, and safety standards.
• Provide logistical support for movement and storage of vehicles and equipment.
• Verify service vehicles meet readiness standards before dispatch.
• Support vehicle readiness documentation, spare parts availability, and inventory management.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment per OSHA guidelines.
• Supervise, coach, and onboard new hires, communicating expectations and giving feedback.
• Act as the primary point of contact for shift concerns and escalate when needed.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration and open communication among team members.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement proactive solutions.
• Support data analysis, documentation, and reporting to improve performance.
