Job summary

New York Life Insurance Co. is seeking a Service Leader for our Central California General Office.

You will act as the primary liaison between the Service team and local Managing Partner, recruiters and agents, ensuring seamless communication and alignment with GO needs. You will match Agency needs with Service solutions, drive service improvements, and educate staff on AI and digital tools to boost productivity and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.
• Proven ability to advocate for new service capabilities and drive adoption of digital solutions.
• Customer-centric mindset with passion for understanding and exceeding expectations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.
• Ability to learn quickly while managing in-office responsibilities.
• Proactive mindset in identifying and resolving service challenges.

Responsibilities

• Champion Service Relationships: be the trusted contact for GO Agency Managers, recruiters, and agents.
• Resolve service escalations with empathy and accountability to sustain loyalty.
• Oversee Onsite Specialist(s) and monitor workload to meet productivity metrics.
• Support Strategic Sales Engagements with alignment of service initiatives.
• Provide AI & Digital Support: train and guide on AI-driven tools and platforms.
• Coordinate Local Engagement Events to reinforce partnerships.
• Enable Change and Adoption through training and onboarding of new tools.
• Oversee Office Operations and local facilities in partnership with Service team.
