Frey Consulting Group seeks an on-site Service Engineer in Pflugerville, TX to install, troubleshoot, refurbish, and maintain advanced industrial equipment. You will support preventive maintenance, document activities, and deliver on-site and remote technical assistance from our Pflugerville facility.
The role requires hands-on electrical and mechanical work, knowledge of lasers and motion systems, and familiarity with 3D printing tech. Occasional evenings or travel may be required.
Location: On-Site in Pflugerville, Texas
Required Technical Skills: Industrial equipment troubleshooting and repair. Electrical and mechanical systems. Industrial lasers and motion control systems. Preventive maintenance and documentation.
Required Experience: 2+ years servicing industrial equipment. Ability to read electrical schematics and engineering diagrams. Windows PC, networking, and Microsoft Office proficiency.
Required Certs/Licenses: Certified tech or skilled worker in electrical engineering. Valid driver's license.
Preferred Technical Skills: Additive manufacturing & industrial 3D printing. MAGICS or SolidWorks. Industrial lasers and motion control systems. Experience with documentation and quality control.
Desired Experience: Customer-facing tech service experience. Equipment refurbishment & component replacement. Remote & on-site technical support. Preventive maintenance of industrial equipment.
Note: This position is Monday-Friday on-site at the Pflugerville facility and may require occasional evening or weekend work.
