Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Quantity and Progress Tracking Project Controls Professional for a site-based assignment with future on-site projects across the U.S. The role emphasizes accurate progress tracking, quantities reporting, and collaboration with construction teams and vendors.

You will maintain databases, establish progress measurement, validate contractor progress, and support earned value and progress payments. On-site presence is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in project controls, progress tracking, quantity surveying, costs, or scheduling.
• Experience tracking and reporting installed quantities and progress on large projects.
• Knowledge of construction sequencing and field execution across disciplines.
• Experience validating contractor progress and supporting progress payments.
• Understanding of earned value management (EVM) principles.
• Ability to analyze planned vs actual progress and identify variances.
• Experience supporting weekly and monthly project reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the project quantity database.
• Track quantity growth, scope changes, and quantity trends.
• Establish and maintain progress measurement procedures and rules.
• Define measurable progress quantities and percent-complete criteria.
• Collect, validate, and track installed quantities to measure progress.
• Review contractor-reported progress against field conditions.
• Conduct or support field walkdowns to validate progress.
• Calculate earned quantities, earned progress, and percent complete.
• Monitor planned vs actual quantities, progress performance, and trends.
• Track completed quantities against invoices and support progress payments.
• Maintain progress reporting tools, databases, and Power BI dashboards.
