Job summary

Strategic Management Solutions, LLC (SMSI) is seeking a Nuclear Safety Subject Matter Expert to support USQ analyses and safety basis documentation for DOE and government clients. The selected candidate must be available to work onsite in Aiken, South Carolina, with occasional teleworking at the client’s discretion.

Responsibilities include Hazard Analyses, TSR development, and documentation such as DSA/TSR. U.S.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of nuclear safety experience with DOE/NNSA or government agencies.
• Minimum 5 years of USQ experience.
• Subject matter experts in applying nuclear safety regulations and standards (10 CFR 830, DOE-STD-3009/1189/1027).

Responsibilities

• Plan and communicate with stakeholders on nuclear safety and criticality for facilities.
• Prepare documentation for DSAs, TSRs, and related safety analyses.
• Perform USQ evaluations for proposed facility changes, tests, operations, and procedures.
• Conduct Hazard Analyses and accident analyses for Hazard Category 2/3 facilities.
