Responsibilities
Determining the appropriate USQ type, such as USQ Determination, USQ Screen, or USQ Categorical Exclusion, to be utilized while performing the USQ Process as required per nuclear facility. This identification supports NNSS facilities and activities, including the Device Assembly Facility (DAF), Principal Underground Laboratory for Subcritical Experimentation (PULSE), Radioactive Waste Management Complex (RWMC), Joint Actinide Shock Physics Experimental Research (JASPER), and Onsite Transportation Safety Document (OTSD).
Preparing the appropriate USQ Determination, USQ Screen, or USQ Categorical Exclusion for the USQ Process as required per nuclear facility. This supports NNSS facilities and activities, including the DAF, PULSE, RWMC, JASPER, and OTSD.
Reviewing completed USQ Determination, USQ Screen, or USQ Categorical Exclusion used in the USQ Process as required per nuclear facility. This supports NNSS facilities and activities, including the DAF, PULSE, RWMC, JASPER, and OTSD.
Mentoring MSTS employees obtaining a USQ Qualification, including but not limited to USQ Preparer, USQ Reviewer, and USQ Approver.
