Job summary

Simpro Group in Miami is seeking a Senior IT Security Engineer to own IT security and compliance end to end, guarding SOC 2 and ISO 27001 posture while partnering with IT leadership on day-to-day operations. This senior IC role is onsite in downtown Miami, reporting to the IT Director, with autonomy to shape security strategy and advise product engineering as needed.

Qualifications

• Hands-on depth in identity and access architecture
• Experience deploying EDR/MDR and enforcing endpoint standards
• Solid understanding of SOC 2 and ISO 27001 programs
• Experience collaborating with external compliance teams is a plus

Responsibilities

• Sustain and strengthen our certification posture across SOC 2 and ISO 27001
• Lead risk management across physical, logical, and system exposures and prioritize remediation
• Audit and remediate shared credentials and improve IAM architecture including SSO consolidation
• Lead security operations, data protection practices, and incident response planning
