Sigma Design seeks a Senior Equipment Engineer to own reliability and performance of site equipment at our Gresham, Oregon facility. You will drive investigations to resolution, mentor the engineering team, and shape maintenance strategies, including predictive maintenance and CMMS-driven improvements.

Collaborating with Maintenance, Operations, and external partners, you will contribute to capital projects, risk assessments, and continuous improvement while coordinating internal and external

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Demonstrated examples of owning complex technical problems and delivering them through to verified resolution.
• Experience in a similar engineering role (preferred), ideally on CVD or similar equipment.

Responsabilités

• Take ownership of complex equipment problems from initial investigation through to implementation and verified resolution.
• Coordinate internal specialists and external suppliers (maintenance, design, OEMs).
• Develop and maintain the site’s reliability and maintenance approach, including predictive and condition-based maintenance.
• Lead problem-solving activities and ensure timely actions and risk mitigation.
• Develop maintenance plans aligned with equipment availability and lead risk reviews.
