Sigma Design in Oregon is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead a multidisciplinary team at a hands-on level. You will provide technical direction across electrical/electronics and software, guiding products from concept through manufacturing, while partnering with manufacturing, quality, and leadership to align strategy and delivery.

The role requires 10+ years of engineering experience with leadership, a strong hardware background, and meaningful software exposure.

Formación

• 10+ years of engineering experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong electrical/electronics background with software exposure.
• Experience taking complex products from development through production.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering team
• Provide technical direction across electrical/electronics and software
• Guide product development from concept through manufacturing
• Manage engineering projects, priorities, and resources
• Oversee verification, validation, and engineering processes
• Drive sound configuration and development practices
• Partner cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, program management, and senior leadership
