Sigma Design is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technician to support manufacturing operations by assembling, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting electro-mechanical systems. The role ensures products meet quality, performance, and safety standards and will be on-site in Portland, OR.

Primary responsibilities include reading schematics, diagnosing faults, calibrating equipment, and collaborating with engineers to improve system designs.

Qualificações

• Associate's degree or certificate required; commensurate experience may be considered.
• IPC and J-STD certifications preferred.
• Hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment valued.
• Strong technical and team-oriented skills.
• MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with ERP systems preferred.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and following procedures.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams.

Responsabilidades

• Install, test, and assemble electro-mechanical equipment, including enclosures, back panels, control panels, wiring assemblies, and automated machinery.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, technical drawings, and diagrams to guide activities.
• Diagnose and repair faults in electrical circuits, mechanical assemblies, electronic components, and related systems.
• Follow ESD control procedures in an ESD-controlled manufacturing environment.
• Calibrate, configure, and modify equipment to meet operational standards and safety requirements.
• Perform equipment assembly, system integration, functional testing, inspection, and troubleshooting for quality prior to shipment.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve system designs and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Maintain accurate records of assembly activities, testing results, inspections, troubleshooting efforts, and product quality.
• Provide hands-on training to co-workers on job functions and procedures.
• Follow Safety, 5S, ISO, and company programs and policies.
• Maintain dependable attendance to support team performance.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
