PD Power Systems LLC in Springfield VA, Tampa FL, and Seven Valleys PA is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer/Designer to design electrical and control systems for power generation and distribution equipment. You will integrate controls with mechanical designs and work with subcontractors, PLCs, generator controls, and HMIs.

Ideal candidates have a 4-year Electrical Engineering degree with 10+ years hands-on experience or a 2-year technical degree with 15+ years, strong CAD skills (AutoCAD,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Alternate: 2-year technical degree or military experience with significant design experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare, edit and maintain electrical schematics, panel diagrams, cable assemblies, and wiring drawings using AutoCAD.
Create, maintain and troubleshoot PLC systems.
Source components based on customer requirements and specifications.
Confer with engineering team and suppliers/vendors to develop the product.
