ApplyLogic Consulting Group, LLC is seeking a Data Engineer to lead the design, development, and optimization of enterprise data infrastructure for a complex federal government client in Northern Virginia. You will drive data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and integration across multiple systems, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability.

The role requires strong SQL, data modeling, and hands-on leadership, with the ability to mentor engineers and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of progressively responsible data engineering experience.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and enterprise relational databases.
• Extensive experience with ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines.
• Experience integrating data across multiple databases and systems.
• Strong data architecture, modeling, and governance understanding.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and optimization of enterprise data infrastructure.
• Provide senior technical leadership for data platforms and pipelines.
• Develop complex data pipelines and integration solutions across systems.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and database objects.
• Establish best practices for data ingestion, transformation, and processing.
• Mentor engineers and review designs for quality and standards.
